Local Rent Com operates as an independent affiliate guide to the Localrent booking platform. We provide information about destinations, local rental companies, and the booking process. We are not a rental company ourselves and do not own or operate vehicles. All bookings are processed through the Localrent system, which connects travellers with local rental suppliers.
When you complete a booking through the Localrent widget on this site, your rental agreement is formed directly with the local rental company named in your voucher. We are not a party to that contract. The terms of your rental - including insurance coverage, deposit requirements, fuel policy, mileage limits, driver age restrictions, and cancellation conditions - are set by the rental company and detailed in your voucher. Any disputes or issues during the rental period must be resolved with the supplier directly.
We make every effort to keep destination guides, booking instructions, and supplier information current and accurate. However, rental companies may change their policies, locations, fleets, and operating procedures without prior notice to us. Always refer to your voucher for the authoritative terms of your specific booking. We do not guarantee the availability of any vehicle class, location, or service feature mentioned in our guides.
Local Rent Com is not responsible for the performance of rental companies listed on Localrent. We do not control vehicle condition, customer service quality, insurance claims, or operational decisions made by suppliers. Our role is purely informational. Use of this site and any bookings made through it are at your own risk. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your rental experience.
Advance payment at the time of booking is processed by Localrent's payment system, not by us. The remaining balance is paid to the rental company at pick-up as stated in your voucher. Any deposit collected by the supplier at their counter is a separate security hold governed by the rental agreement. We do not handle funds or process refunds.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Last updated: January 2025.
